About Taghazout

Just got here, it's busy summer season with lots of Moroccon tourists and some free Berber concerts! In about ten days it will quit down as people return to work and school. Overall I'm enjoying the vibe and Internet is good. I read they fixed the sewage problem that other reviewers have mentioned. I will post another review after a few weeks. I was speaking to a local and he said rent for a basic apartment is max $300 and you can purchase one for about 25k (60 sq meters two bedroom)

Well. Stayed 3 days close to the beach. Last day on the toilet and 2 days in the bed at home (Czech Rep.). Cought the famous disease from water probably. So my review is probably not objective :-). My nomadic experience about Morroco however is quite poor. Dirty, uncertain, you can't believe anyone, not feeling safe at all ... I am maybe too old for this kind of adventure :-)

Hope you like dirty, overcrowded beaches and cockroaches. My apartment was swamped by roaches after sewage works in the street a few days prior. Unfortunately I fell for the hype and paid for it. Could be a decent nomad place, but definitely far from it in my experience.

This is a very laidback fisher village. Compared to the crowded places in Agadir and Marrakech this town is way better. There is good and cheap food and also modern hostels and co-working spaces. If you are into surfing this place is also paradise, for advanced surfers 'Boilers' is the place to go.
