Stayed in Malta for 6 months, definitely a place that I don't recommend. A huge mess, and it is getting worse. . Crazy expensive . Locals are not nice with foreigners . Scams from police and locals . So full of tourist on summer . Salaries are super low while the life (mostly the rent) are very expensive . Super dirty There is a lot better place to go in the world than Malta. Good point : the landscapes are very beautiful

It's a bit loud for nomads, cars, dog's, honking all the time, construction works everywhere all the time. Weather is nice at winter time is around 15C, no heating in the flats so it's a bit no comfortable inside the house. Locals are nice but in general doesn't like foreigner's if you are from eastern countries especially from Eastern Europe county. If you want to work for local company it will probably be hard to settle it with income. Td Lr: not bad for few months to stay but not more than that.
