About Coimbra

One of the cheapest cities in Portugal to live, since it's basically an university town. It's definitely a gem, with not so many distractions and perfect to get the work done. Coimbra has all the qualities of Portugal cities such as food, wine, safety, cultural events etc, everything quite low-cost oriented, specially accomodation -- you can find really good deals way cheaper than Lisbon or Porto. It's a bit tourist but not a trap. Great green spaces to relax, however it's a hill city and climbing up and down might be a con for those with reduced mobility.
